Agencies must be licensed to practice in that state and must post a bond. Attorneys from any state may be able to collect in their own name without the requirements. Must either be a resident of NE or have a regularly maintained office in the state. The attorney allows for them to collect under their name or the firm name as long as it is not for the collection agency run by a lay person.
